Cloud computing is the provision of computing services, including storage, applications, networking and computing services, via the internet. Over the last decade, cloud technology adoption has grown – many of us back-up our phones and photos to “the cloud” without thinking about it and many global enterprises use remote, “cloud-based” servers to host their data and run applications.
Cloud technology is still not yet widely implemented in the physical security space and our close collaboration with customers shows that there are concerns when it comes to moving physical security off site. We also understand that there may be gaps in knowledge or experience on what the cloud actually really means, what benefits it can bring and the different offerings and technologies available.
As our clients’ “safe pair of hands”, QCIC offers advice and guidance that will help our customers on their journey into the cloud. We can help ease the transition and set-up for the future by providing information on the types of services and most suitable products available, building benefit and use cases and creating ROI calculations.
