We were appointed by a prestigious auction house to identify systems architecture options for the implementation of a regional Video Management System (VMS).
The options needed to support the business’s long term objectives of integrating a number of regional systems within Europe, the Middle East and Africa, effectively managing substantial video storage requirements and accommodating scalability to support future growth.
As part of the project, we conducted an in depth assessment of existing CCTV systems, focussing on technological and environmental factors to generate a detailed understanding of what the client currently has in place to influence requirements for any future system. Through site visits, workshops and stakeholder meetings we developed future functional and technical specifications which allowed for the generation of a suitable range of architecture solutions. This included a review of associated commercial and operational impacts and consequences to allow the client to make a fully informed selection. We subsequently co-developed a business case to secure board level funding to make substantial improvements to the business’ security architecture.
