Global security upgrade: Moscow data centre
We were appointed by a leading financial media agency to upgrade the security systems of their offices and data centres across the globe. This included the implementation of a uniform Automated Access Control System (AACS) across all their locations and additional security measures depending on each location’s individual needs.
When appointed to provide the security upgrade for our client’s Moscow-based data centre, certain considerations needed to be made in order to ensure the smooth running of the centre during the installation, particularly in relation to customs restrictions and local purchasing risks.
We worked closely with our client to assess their security requirements and manage the installation of a new Automated Access Control System (AACS) as part of the company-wide upgrade. This involved the installation of new encrypted readers and access panels, and upgrading the current AACS software. During the project we overcome a number of challenges surrounding equipment deliveries, visa restrictions, and communication with local manufacturers due to language limitations.
