Estate security review for London-based financial trading company
We provided a range of design and systems support services for our client, a major financial trading company based in London. We were tasked with reviewing the security currently in place at a number of their premises in response to changes in business and threat requirements.
An initial review of the client’s Automated Access Control System (AACS) revealed that a number of different systems were in place at their various locations, not all of which could be fully integrated and centrally managed by the London headquarters. The client also used a multi-card access system which was substandard from both a security and business perspective.
Our review focused on determining the most commercially and operationally feasible way to create an integrated system across the client’s portfolio of facilities, whilst being mindful of the need to develop a long-term and globally consistent AACS strategy.
We conducted a three-phase review that assessed the access technologies available, determined the functional requirements of a fully integrated enterprise AACS, and defined options for a new cost-effective system.
As the client is constantly growing and developing, all our assessments and recommendations were geared towards a sustainable strategy that could be replicated in all future sites.
