Mayfair private members’ club fit out
Our client, one of the world’s leading accounting firms, acquired a new 40,000 sq. ft. space in West London which was being converted into a private client hub and meeting rooms and required new security systems to be designed and installed.
As a private members’ club, it was extremely important that the environment was open and welcoming whilst still being secure and limiting access to club members only. We met this brief by ensuring that all security measures that were implemented did not negatively impact members’ experience; this was achieved using Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles and techniques to support the design process.
By collaboration with the project architects and interior designers during the early design stages, the building layout was able to support the overall security design which allowed security equipment to be kept to a minimum. This not only acted as a cost saving measure, but also reduced unwanted overt security measures such as CCTV cameras.
