Historical artifact protection
An international development network opened a new academic centre based in London’s King’s Cross in order to benefit from good transport links and the area’s regeneration. We were appointed to design the security for this new building.
2D CAD was used to create a detailed security system design, which included an Automated Access Control System (AACS). As the academic centre housed items of historical significance, an intrusion and hold-up alarm system was installed alongside enhanced walls and doors, and a biometric system was put into place so as to prevent unauthorised individuals from entering the building.
