Global security upgrade: Offices in Japan
We were appointed by a leading financial media agency to upgrade offices and data centres across the globe. This included the implementation of a uniform Automated Access Control System (AACS) across all their locations and additional security measures depending on each location’s individual needs.
The update of our client’s Japanese office involved upgrading its current AACS software and installing corresponding hardware such as encrypted panels and readers.
Japan’s high customs tax on imports meant that much of the equipment for the installation needed to be sourced from local suppliers. In order to ensure high quality standards were maintained we contracted a Japanese translator to facilitate better communications between the QCIC team and local vendors and engineers.
