Refurbishment and extension of mixed-use Broadgate development
QCIC was contracted by Hopkins Architects to provide security consultancy for the planning stages of the refurbishment and extension of 100 Liverpool Street, an office and retail development adjacent to Liverpool Street Station in Central London. QCIC was retained by Hopkins Architects as security consultant for the remaining project stages.
The proximity of the 100 Liverpool Street development to critical transportation infrastructure meant that QCIC was required to give special consideration to the protection of public spaces, and achieved this through the inclusion of blast prevention and electronic security design.
QCIC coordinated its security consultancy with the City of London Police and with Transport for London (TfL) to ensure that its proposed security measures would not negatively impact the nearby transportation infrastructure.
