As part of the masterplan for a mixed-use development the Project Hub will be a location for British Land staff to conduct meetings, allow for temporary office space and also showcase future developments utilising the marketing suite.
The project entailed the refurbishment of a historic building, the Dock Offices, that is Grade II listed. The building is best known for its iconic clock tower, which will be retained. QCIC was appointed throughout the design and construction stages. Due to the nature of the building, the security measures implemented were carefully chosen to maintain the ornate feel of the building whilst modernising its integrated electronic security.
Automated Access Control, CCTV, VCOM and Intruder systems were designed to the clients’ specific criteria to allow a smooth transition to the central project hub during the period of construction for the wider Canada Water masterplan.
