Engineering Administrator

We are leading a security design consultancy, working with major multinational companies on some of the most prestigious global developments and we are looking for an Engineering Administrator for the group to join our successful team. The team is split between the UK and South Africa but both groups work as one business unit and the successful candidate will be supporting both locations.
Key requirements of the role will include but are not limited to:
Assist internal project managers to manage project deliverables through structured design milestone delivery stages maintaining project trackers.
Assist with creating and reviewing master templates (i.e. presentations, reports, checklists).
Assist with creating new presentations, financial proposals, reports, etc, and storing them within a pre-established centralised repository.
Assist with online project Document Management Systems (DMS), logging actions and items for remediation within a centralised action tracker.
Filing of documents and QA checks of folders.
Rebranding of internal and external project documents to the QCIC marketing standards.
Navigate and understand our internal project and resource management software.
Assist with updating our internal design metrics tracker.
Proof read reports and specifications for any errors.
Any other ad-hoc office duties such as answering incoming calls, taking messages, arranging diaries, and planning travel.
What we are looking for
Adequate work experience within a similar role and environment.
Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
Good numeracy.
Extensive experience with all office-based applications, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
The propensity for multi-tasking with good interpersonal skills.
Deadline-driven, with good time management and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the building services environment is desirable.
Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
Committed to delivering an excellent level of service to the design team and an eye for detail.
General administrative tasks.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
